mystic pizza

lo siento ... this post is slightly late, it's been a busy week at work!

ha ha! i am such a dork! if i keep up these corny titles for my posts, i may get hired by the post!

last tuesday was a fun-filled night!

i started off the evening by listening to my uncle george speak about buddhism and science at the tibet center (see previous post) with jordi, kelly, and amy.



it is nice to see my uncle, but, honestly, we were all a little lost during he lecture. yeah, me and science just don't mix very well! (sorry dad!) now if the lecture was on buddhism and shoes ... !!!!

then i meet up with anita, michael, and nic at pizza bar for misshapes new party.
think an abundance of good-times misshapes music minus the dancing but add delicious pizza!!
sounds good to me!!

anita and i look like we are secretly plotting pizza mischief!


and this is the yummy pizza! nic and i shared the cheeseburger pizza ... highly recommended (though i was a bad photog that night and didn't get a good picture!)


michael displays his inner spaniard with a candy rose. fancy!


nic contemplates if the video playing on the screen is an appropriate match for the music that is also playing. hmmm .. maybe you should let the owner know your thoughts!

time for dessert! anita opens the huge fortune cookie she got in her goody bag from the young lyons event she went to earlier.

then brian showed up to chat for a minute. by the way people, don't expect a quick response from brian if you ever shoot him an email .. he is a self-proclaimed very busy guy!!!

the night gets late and either anita is tired, or a little tipsy, or maybe she just can't see very well. but she was convinced that steve aoki's hoodie said "skate or pie!! maybe she still had pizza on her mind!
