you've come a long way, baby!

i can't believe this day is here!

so let's take a moment to go back and look at some of the highlights of the past year:

• my first post. not very exciting. but an important moment in history.
  

• i've been linked! this post made it to gawker! it was the first time i got so many page views in one day! over 300 hits!! exciting!!!
  

• this post of millie getting a bath keeps people coming back over and over again, thanks to cityrag! they have had this this link repeated several times in their stories about buddy.

• i love being linked! this random photo i took on 16th st. also made it to gawker and brought in over 700 views! sweet jams!
  

• a little reference to steve madden and gawker picked me up once again. results - over 800 hits in one day!! (over 900 in 2 days!) aaawwwoooooo!!!!

i've also had met some people that i might not have ever known if it wasn't for the little ol' blog:

• i often read mariana's blog to find out about her newest shoes, organizational skills, and cute creations. a funny thing happened though, when lisa and i were out at a bar one night. some drunk guy was trying to dance with us. after looking at the photos of the drunken night and then reading mariana's blog one day, i realized that it is a very small world!
  

• i have reunited with college alums. shout out to bethie!!
  

• i have also become great friends with a fellow blogger! pinknest and i were bound to find eachother - the music, shoes, dancing, and obsessive photo similarities!! plus, she is great at recommending places to eat!
